Inspiring commissions from a wide range of performers and ensembles, Sarah Bassingthwaighte has composed chamber music for every orchestral instrument, as well as electronic and electro-acoustic music. Her works have been premiered by Affinity, Scott Ligocki, Ann Cummings, Eric Rynes, Miho Takekawa, Idaho Chamber Players, J. Scott, among others. She has received awards from the Seattle Composers Salon and was a Brechemin Scholar.
